There’s a first time for everything: Travelling Gallery and Glasgow Women’s Library on the road

In Spring 2017 the artist Lauren Printy Currie completed a three month residency at GWL. Lauren’s new Travelling Gallery exhibition, Her body remembered a night-blooming cereus, sweated industry and salt (what came near), which was inspired by her time at GWL, is now touring the length and breadth of Scotland. We’re looking forward to the second Harpies, Fechters and Quines All Woman Poetry Slam taking place at Out of the Blue Cafe, The Drill Hall, Edinburgh on Thursday 23rd June2016 6pm-9pm, and we’re looking for new and more experienced performance poets to strut their stuff on the night for our 3 judges and lucky audience.
