Online: Ways of Seeing: Shutter Speed Talks

Alongside our Ways of Seeing symposium and exhibition, are these pre-recorded 'Shutter Speed' talks. These snapshot presentations offer a glimpse the many stories of women and photography in Scotland. Watch along to discover more about Victorian tintypes, the carte-de-viste craze or figures such as Hannah Jane Dunlop, Lady Anne Lindsay and Jessie Mann.

How are women’s lives reflected in Renfrewshire’s towns and villages? How are they celebrated or remembered? These sessions are a chance to try out something new, take part in creative workshops, make friends and contribute to an exciting end of project exhibition in Paisley in 2021.
