Glasgow Women’s Library is now over 30 years old!
Since 1991 we have developed from a grass-roots group totally reliant on volunteers into a unique, well-respected and multi-award winning organisation providing life-changing opportunities for thousands of women. As the only Accredited Museum dedicated to women’s history in the whole UK, and a designated Recognised Collection of National Significance, GWL is truly a national treasure.
Now we must make sure that we safeguard our future so that we can continue to collect, preserve and document a wide array of women’s hugely varied histories, lives, struggles, experiences and achievements – and makes these items accessible.
So that we can ensure this long-term security we need your help today and would like to ask that you leave a Legacy to Glasgow Women’s Library in your Will, so that you can make a difference after your death without affecting your current financial circumstances.
Of course it is important that you take care of your family and friends first, but we hope that you will also be in a position to think of Glasgow Women’s Library, as every Legacy, however big or small, can help. Your gift can be given in many ways, such as cash, property, shares or land, at a sum you feel you can afford; however much you feel you can leave, you can be assured that Glasgow Women’s Library will be incredibly grateful.
