LGBTQ Badges Postcard

£1.50

This postcard celebrates our incredible LGBTQ+ badge collection.

Description

This postcard celebrates our incredible LGBTQ+ badge collection.

Among our entirely donated museum and archive collections is a huge selection of badges that chart equality, social justice and human rights campaigns from the 1960s onwards. From LGBTQ+ activism to feminist movements that have changed hearts, minds and laws, these badges were once worn with pride and tell their own story of how people can change the world, unite and support each other.

Postcards featuring badges from the GWL collection

This card is an updated version of a card made by us in 1995 to launch the opening of the Lesbian Archive when that important collection relocated to Glasgow Women’s Library from London – we have grown and cared for the collection ever since. Send a postcard with pride, and support our work in the process!
