Description

We are excited to present our new addition to the Glasgow Women’s Library’s shop – jigsaws!

We have worked with ‘All Jigsaw Puzzles’ of Devon to produce two different jigsaws that celebrate our wonderful collection of badges, and will keep you busy throughout the winter.

Among our entirely donated museum and archive collections is a huge selection of badges that chart equality, social justice and human rights campaigns from the 1960s onwards. From LGBTQ+ activism to feminist movements that have changed hearts, minds and laws, these badges were once worn with pride and tell their own story of how people can change the world.

We have two versions: The Badges of Honour (Feminist Edition); and the Badges of Honour (LGBTQ+ Edition), both equally beautiful, inspiring and fun.

Both jigsaws are 500 pieces and square, measuring 49x49cm when completed. Each jigsaw comes with all pieces sealed in clear 100% recyclable polybag inside a sturdy box. The millboard used for the actual jigsaws is 100% recycled, the ink is sourced in the UK and vegan, and all paper used in production is Totally Chlorine Free (TCF) paper sourced from FSC & PEFC sources. Box dimensions: 22x20x5cm.

Each jigsaw costs £16; Postage and Packing costs £3.95 for UK orders.

All sales of this jigsaw puzzle support the work of Glasgow Women’s Library.
