We’re delighted to be launching our new Autumn programme!
Since its inception in 1991 our library has been collecting and preserving women’s history. We have grown from an unfunded, grassroots group into a renowned heritage resource that supports and unites women locally, nationally and internationally. This season sees the Three Decades of Changing Minds project take its next steps in exploring the GWL origin story and you’re invited! We will be delving further into the archive and sharing the institutional knowledge we’ve captured over the last 4 months, using our archive as a tool for inciting memories and a framework for looking at the present and future; looking back to move forward.
Action from our archive will be accompanied by our usual packed programme of workshops, exhibitions, reading and writing events.
A lot of our events are taking place in person again but we are still running some online. We know that it’s helpful to know what to expect when booking on to online events so we’ve written a blog which you can find here, telling you a bit more about the booking process and how we create a friendly space online.
