In a time when the future feels harder to imagine, we’re looking to women writers for imaginative and hopeful visions for the future. From the speculative novels of Ursula Le Guin to the dark dreams of Louise Welsh and Margaret Atwood, women have written about the future in lots of different ways. Grab a cup of tea and bit of cake, then sit back and listen to readings from articles, stories and poetry across Sci-Fi, and fantasy.

As a special treat, our Bold Types writing competition prize-winners will read from their own stunning short stories and poems, which all explore the theme of Future.

In partnership with Paisley Book Festival.

This is one of our “take part” events this Spring – we’d love to hear your questions and comments but you’re welcome to join and listen!
