We provide a range of events – some are free and for some we ask for a small contribution towards running costs. It is listed in the event details how much these events cost. However, on most events we offer subsidised and/or free places for students, people on a low income, unemployed or in receipt of benefits.
Booking a free place on an event couldn’t be simpler. Once you’ve joined the Library, you’ll be given a borrower’s card with your GWL number, and you can use that number to complete the Booking Form below. If you’re not yet a member, you can join the library here.
If there is a cost for the event and you are not eligible for a free place then you need to buy tickets through the events pages – find events on our calendar.
