Comfort the Breast Quilt, was made by 180 women and teenage girls from across the UK. The artwork explores the subject of breasts, from prepubescent hopes, aging, breastfeeding, sexualization, operations and hormones for health or cosmetic issues, to transgender women feminization. These are women’s stories of embarrassment, pleasure, pain and joy.
