Women, Media, Politics

Glasgow Women's Library 23 Landressy Street, Glasgow

What helps and hinders women from acting “politically” in public? Why is the media so resistant to change? This day long event, organised by the Centre for Gender & Feminist Studies (University of Stirling) and funded by the Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities (SGSAH) and the Women’s Media Studies Network of Media, Communication and Cultural Studies Association (MeCCSA), will explore this question, focusing on “women, media and politics” in the broadest sense.
