Please note that the venue has changed for this book launch due to ongoing boiler replacement works. To best look after our event attendees and participants we decided to relocate and we are very grateful that Good Press are supporting this event as an alternative venue. Good Press is located at 32 St Andrews Street in the Trongate area of Glasgow city centre. The time has also changed slightly and this will happen between 4pm and 6pm now.

Telling Invents Told is the first collection of writings by artist and filmmaker Lis Rhodes.

Book Launch | Lis Rhodes: Telling Invents Told, Saturday 7th December, 4pm to 6pm

Since the 1970s, Rhodes has been making radical and experimental work that challenges dominant power structures. Her writing addresses urgent political issues – from the refugee crisis to workers’ rights, police brutality, discrimination and homelessness – as well as film history and theory, from a feminist perspective.

Join Maria Palacios Cruz from LUX and The Visible Press with invited artists for an afternoon of readings from this new book.
