Queering the Food System

7th September , 1:00pm to 3:30pm

Free
Collage of photos of different food items over a background of green text on a cream background mapping our relationship to food

If we are to reimagine the structure and priorities of our food production and consumption, where should we look for inspiration?

In this creative workshop we will explore how radical queer, feminist, and anti-capitalist theory and activism can be applied to the food system. Drawing on materials from the Glasgow Women’s Library archive, we will discuss how these can be applied to the food system and create a collaborative zine which reflects our thoughts and feelings.
