Cancelled: Open Book

These vibrant and thoughtful monthly Open Book creative writing sessions are led by Kathrine Sowerby, a poet and writer based in Glasgow.

Open Book, Tuesdays 4th July, 1st August, 5th September, 3rd October, 10.30am to 12.30am, GWL, Free, 16+, Women* Only

The Open Book session on 5th September has been cancelled – the sessions will restart on Tuesday 3rd October.

Each session focus on a different theme each month – such as Home, Grow and Transform, or Garden – and use poetry and short stories as prompts for your own creative writing.

Perfect for seasoned writers and beginners alike, get your creative juices flowing and join our warm and supportive writing community.

This event is for Women* only. To attend, please book below and we will share details with you via email.  If you would like to make a donation to Glasgow Women’s Library, you can do so here. You will receive your email a few days before the event takes place.

*All women-only events are inclusive of Trans and Intersex women, as well as non-binary and gender fluid people who are comfortable in a space that centres the experience of women.

Accessibility

Glasgow Women’s Library is wheelchair accessible, with lifts to the first floor and the Mezzanine Floor. We have accessible toilets and all the bathrooms are individual closed stalls and are gender neutral. Our larger Events Space is fitted with an induction loop. A portable induction loop is also available.
