ONLINE: Create and Connect Showcase

Hear work from new members of the Glasgow Women’s Library’s Spring Create and Connect group in a magical evening of poetry, prose, storytelling and – most importantly – creating and connecting.

Create and Connect Showcase, Online, Wednesday 3rd June, 6pm to 7.30pm

Since February, we connect to write, be together and explore our poetic passions, thanks to Glasgow Women’s Library and her Edinburgh based Writing Group; Create and Connect. Initially strangers, we have grown together quite a bit, explored vast themes: the enlightenment, archives, home, love… Empowered by the support and strength shared, we continue to write and build connections. Together we endure, thrive, laugh and cope even in the most difficult times, even and especially now.

Facilitated by Titilayo Farukuoye, this online showcase features talented new voices in the Scottish literary landscape and promises to be an evening of powerful readings.
