Alice Crompton, 1866-?

“My name is Alice Crompton and I am a Suffragette. Originally from Manchester, I campaigned all over Scotland: I climbed a fence in Fife as a protest against a visit by the Prime Minister, Asquith; organised the Scottish Suffrage Summer School in 1913 and I helped to found the Stornoway Women’s Suffrage Society.”
