If you are looking to read a thriller that is a page turner I can certainly recommend this. Indeed it’s a joy to read a book by a Scots authoress.
The story concerns a boy going missing at the airport and how his mother has to convince the airport authorities that she had lost him before doing everything in her power to trace and recover him.
This may have been the first Val McDermid book that I have read but it certainly won’t be the last.
