Part One opens during the 1st World War; the reader is introduced to Sophie Lefevre as she hides a pig from the local Kommandant (who is subsequently drawn to Sophie). Sophie finds various ways to score points off the occupying force.
Read how she does this and enjoy the reminiscences of how she came to meet Edouard.
Part Two opens in 2006 with Liv receiving Sophie’s portrait as a gift. Can she retain the portrait?
A really enjoyable read.
