Last Day of 2-week Cataloguing Placement

Friday last was the final day of my 2-week placement at GWL, cataloguing the ENACT for Women Collection. What a wonderful environment with a wonderful team and such a rich experience! I couldn’t have been placed in a better setting. Time seemed too short but I nevertheless was able to describe a series down to item level. I must look into returning as a volunteer.  Much gratitude to my supervisor, Hannah Little, who facilitated this most rewarding learning experience (and got me addicted to snowballs, I believe the sweeties are called) and to the rest of the team for being so accommodating and for making my stint so comfortable and productive (and for Friday afternoon’s surprise cake/goodies, presents and camaraderie). Happy will be the next University of Glasgow student(s) to be placed there. All the best and long last GWL!
