We’re having a clear-out of our library and archive area.
If you’d like to help, you can do so in a number of ways:
- Come along Thursday 1st and/or Friday 2nd October to help move boxes and tidy up. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty in and bring along a duster!
- Do you have any spare plastic boxes that you would like to donate to the library? We’re looking for plastic boxes with lids, ideally around 55 x 30 x 40 cm (or 22″ x 11.5″ x 15.5″) in size.
- Or you could lend us trolleys for heavy lifting.
- We’re also looking for wooden pallets – if you have any or know of anyone who would like to get rid of some of them let us know!
For Sale
Clearing out the library means we have some wooden shelves and cardboard boxes that we’re hoping to sell to help raise funds for the move to the Mitchell.
Two pre-assembled shelving units:
2.2m (w) x 130.5cm (h) x 24.5 cm (d) (3 bays of shelving)
126cm (w) x 199cm (h) x 50cm (d) (4 bays of shelving – 2 bays back to back)
One unassembled shelving unit: 77cm (w) x 233cm (h) x 22.5cm (d) (1 bay of shelving)
15 metal shelves (brackets): 90 x 25 cm
Cardboard packing boxes: 1m x 34cm (w) x 32 cm (h)
