The last storytelling workshop being held at Glasgow Women’s Library to celebrate International Women’s Day is Once Upon a Dancing Tale.

‘It’s the spirit of the story that’s important’ Isabelle Allende

Storytellers Wendy Woolfson and Jean Edmiston tell stories that evoke a sense of place. Working with these stories and mostly found and recycled materials each participant will create a ‘spirit book’ of their own that tells a story.

Monday, 9th March, 10.30am to 12.30pm

Inspired by the Spirit Books made by Susan Kapuscinski Gaylord

‘Anything can happen, anything is possible and likely. Time and space do not exist. Against a faint background of reality imaginations spins out and weaves new patterns’
Fanny and Alexander by Ingmar Bergman, from A Dream Play by August Stringberg
