Writers Dilys Rose, from Edinburgh, Scotland and Karen Knight, from Hobart, Tasmania have teamed up on a long-distance collaboration to tackle the same topics from polar perspectives. The paired poems are variously narrative and elliptical, direct and evocative, and are complemented by the individual and distinctive graphic works of Laurie Hastings and Polly Thelwall. The result is a unique publication which encompasses synergy and opposition, symmetry and dialogue.
Come along to this fabulous launch event. Hear readings by Dilys Rose; see artwork by Laurie Hastings and Polly Thelwall; and be dazzled by music from The Cubic Zirconias, fiddler Jen Macneill and guitarist Ali Brown.
There will also be the opportunity to purchase copies of the book and have them signed.
