Women’s History Unwrapped – Nairn

19th September at 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

There are ordinary heroines and extraordinary women in every community’s history, but where can you find them and how are they recognised?

Women’s History Unwrapped, Tuesday 19th September, 3pm-4.30pm, Nairn Community and Arts Centre, King Street, Nairn.

View Lauren Printy Currie’s exhibition in the Travelling Gallery which was inspired by the unique resources and artefacts at GWL, a place dedicated to conserving women’s history. Discover the treasures in our Mobile Mini Archive, share your ideas for an archive about local women and find out how you can make a women’s heritage project happen in your community.

This workshop is offered in partnership with WEA Women in the Highlands and Travelling Gallery and with support from Outset Scotland and Heritage Lottery Fund.
