Seeing Things: Trip to CCA

In February the Seeing Things group will visit a new exhibition at the CCA “Speaking in Tongues”, which features work by the artists Sonia Boyce, Pavel Büchler and Susan Hiller. Throughout their work, these artists examine themes such as gender, race, memory and popular culture, and an exhibition of their work is sure to be interesting and challenging.
Seeing Things is a project for women who want to see more ‘things’ happening in Glasgow. There is a rich and exciting program of theatre, art, music, film and other performance planned in the city during 2014, and this project is designed to create a safe and friendly environment for women who want to participate in these activities, even if they haven’t felt comfortable or able to do so before.
