Where: Meeting at Glasgow Women’s Library, Landressy Street at 10:30 for taxis to House for an Art Lover, Bellahouston Park

Why you should join us: This exhibition is all about celebration, so come along for the festivities!
The show is called ‘Objects of Celebration’, and displays objects and images lovingly collected by Heminsley. Some of them are full of personal stories, some have links to social and political issues, and others are simply interesting to look at. All of them tell us about rituals of celebration from all over the world.
After the exhibition we will have a look around the House, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
As usual, we’d love for you to join us afterwards for a cup of tea or coffee on us so we can have a chat about what we have seen.

This trip is for women only and is free to attend. Travel expenses to and from the library will be covered up to £5, and the taxis are on us.
