18th July, 2012, 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Free

This summer, the Clydebank women’s history detectives will be looking
at memorials and monuments to women in Clydebank. There will also
be film showings and visits to archives in Glasgow.

Starting 1–3pm, Wednesday 18th July, at Centre 81.

Would you like to find out more about women in the Blitz; the
suffragettes in Clydebank; women who worked in the Singer factory
or the shipyards? Or maybe there is another woman from Clydebank’s
past you would like to know more about? Why not join the women’s
history detectives? This friendly group can help you develop your
skills in researching women’s history and is suitable for beginners and
experienced alike.
