Harpies Fechters and Quines 2016 Launch Event-Women Around the World in Edinburgh

This year’s Harpies, Fechters and Quines events will run from 13^th-25^th June and the festival will be celebrating the achievements, culture and diversity of multicultural women. BME women poets, a Story Café special featuring women from GWL’s Commonwealth writer’s collection and following last year’s hugely successful All Women Poetry Slam a second chance for women of all ages and backgrounds to perform are just some of the highlights of the 2016 programme. The launch event this year will feature performances from “women around the world”.
