Collect:if
Collect:if is a fabulous new network bringing together Women of Colour (WoC) who are established figures in the arts, culture and creative industries in Scotland and those who are developing their practice.
We aim to explore the challenges affecting Black and Minority Ethnic women in the Arts and create opportunities for them to progress in their field of work. Our Work With Writers
A haven for readers and writers in Scotland and beyond.
Open the Door
Glasgow Women’s Library is a haven for women writers and readers in Scotland. In this new age dominated by so much excellence in women’s writing, when women are being published internationally, to great acclaim and to great popularity, we want to celebrate a new canon.
Sex in the Women’s Library
Our Sex in the Women’s Library programme, in partnership with the Wellcome Collection’s Institute of Sexology season, spotlighted items in the GWL’s diverse library, museum and archive collection which focus on the terrain of sex, sexual identity, feminism and power, and used these as a catalyst for discussions, screenings and performances.
