Our Work With Writers

A haven for readers and writers in Scotland and beyond.

Glasgow Women’s Library works with both established and emerging writers from the UK and across the world in a myriad of ways: through our Bold Types competition; as readers and guests at our Story Cafés; as facilitators at our workshops; at book launches; commissioning new works for our 21 Revolutions publication; and showcasing women’s writing in all its forms at our Open The Door Festival.

We revel in the diversity and range of women writers both at home and abroad, encouraging, supporting and celebrating new and existing talent.
