Walks this Spring!

It’s Spring, the sun is making sporadic appearances, and our Women’s Heritage Walks have begun! Why not come along and get some fresh air whilst learning about women you’ll be astonished you didn’t know about before…

Looking forward to the launch of our Autumn Programme…

Ahead of launching our Autumn programme we hear from Elizabeth Ford and Brianna Robertson-Kirkland who are recent PhD graduates in music from the University of Glasgow. Elizabeth and Brianna are hosting an incredible day at the library to research and discuss women’s education in the arts in the 18th century on Thursday 8th September, one of the earliest events in our new programme which we launch on 18th August.

Bold Types: Scottish Women’s Creative Writing Competition 2015

Be bold and submit your short stories and poems to our annual writing competition. This year our theme is Transformation and Renewal and submission is open from Monday 21st September to Monday 9th November.
