What’s On at GWL

It’s the Library’s twentieth anniversary on Wednesday 21 September 2011 and to mark this wonderful milestone we are launching a year of events, exhibitions and celebrations!

Read Out! Read In!

Artists Kate Davis and Faith Wilding developed Feminist Lines of Flight in 2010, inviting a diverse group of people to add their feminist ‘must reads’ and ‘must sees’ to an inspiring list now available on our website.

Library Closed Friday 13 May

The library will be closed on Friday 13 May for staff training. If you have learning arranged and have not spoken to a member of staff about this already please contact us on 0141 248 9969. ESOL classes have been rescheduled for that morning and Steps to Social Science and Care will take place at Stow College.

Book Club Titles

The fantastic book group have pull together a list of forthcoming titles that they will be reading over the next year or so. Some really great reads on the list including, The Woman in Black, Naming the Bones, Old Filth, Year of the Flood and more!
