21 Revolutions, an Orkney poet and a road trip – Harpies Fechters and Quines 2014

Women in the arts was the theme for this years Harpies Fechters and Quines festival in Edinburgh which ran from 9-21st June. Within that theme we had a wide range of activities, talks and workshops, from zine making and creative writing to fabulous exhibitions and fascinating talks.

Harpies, Fechters and Quines – Rosette Making at Stockbridge and Oxgangs

We have been spending a lot of time in Edinburgh over the last few weeks, thanks to the Harpies, Fechters and Quines festival. There have been plenty of brilliant events, including our suffragette rosette making workshops at Stockbridge and Oxgangs libraries, where we had lots of enthusiastic participants who ranged in age from 23 to 83.
