This event will celebrate the completion of GWL's zine collection being catalogued and published online making it accessible to all. As well as having the chance to hear from a panel of zine experts, there will be live music, refreshments and the chance to pick up zines from local zine makers

This exhibition draws on research undertaken into some of the key figures of the Women’s Peace Crusade highlighting a sample of some of their incredible achievements. From Glasgow based activists such as Helen Crawfurd, to national and international figures such as Rosa Manus the research, curated by Fiona Dean and developed in collaboration with staff and volunteers at GWL, has tried to uncover lost connections between the lives and activities of individuals associated with the WPC.

In this Story Café Special, join us to discuss two favourite heroines, Katniss and Hermione: what we love about these trailblazing characters and what we loathe about their worlds. Being a geek, with like minded women, and cake - could any lunchtime be better?
No acting skills required. Just enjoy an informal play reading without the stress of learning lines or the goosebumps of performing on stage. And you don’t even need to read out loud! Previous Drama Queens have told us it was “Great fun reading the plays together – something I’ve never done before.”
