CANCELLED: Story Café Special: Women on the Ground; Women Journalists Past and Present

This event will take place at A K Bell Library in Perth.
From anarchism in Spain, to photo-journalism in Yemen, we will look at two journalists who were or are also activists for change. Glasgow-born Ethel MacDonald reported from Barcelona during the Spanish Civil War, and Amira Al-Sharif is a present-day Yemeni photo-journalist. We will share extracts from their writings and biographies and there will be time for questions and discussion.
This Story Café is offered in partnership with Perth Women’s Collective.
