There will be pageant party games, badge making, and a chance to see all of the beautiful pieces that have been made so far.
It’s not a party without cake! There will be plenty to go around and tea and coffee to wash it all down.

March of Women is a community arts project which will bring together the women and families of Glasgow through a dramatic celebration of local history and social space. This project is a partnership between Royal Conservatoire Scotland and Glasgow Women’s Library funded by Creative Scotland.
The project takes its inspiration from A Pageant of Great Women by Cicely Hamilton, performed and toured in 1909. The play was radical due its politics and the sheer number of people involved since the cast was mostly recruited from the local female population.
You can be involved with March of Women in many different ways:
Tweet your images! We are asking what happens When Women get together and effect change. Download our When Women poster and fill in your own statement around When Women [______] We… then take a picture holding your statement and tweet us using hashtag #MarchofWomen
Join a workshop. We are holding a range of workshops, including research, creative writing, performance and more!
Be part of the performance. Give voice to an inspirational Scottish woman.
Volunteer with us. Help us engage women in the project and spread the word about what we do.
