Many of us will have a book that we hold close to our heart. A book that inspired us, a book that changed our life.
Hear from three emerging BME women writers, based in Scotland about a book which changed their life, how they got into writing and books they have written.
Safina Mazhar, Nadine Jassat and Nalini Paul join us to share the books they hold dear during this Book Week Scotland event.
Leading up to the event we will work with diverse women’s groups across Glasgow to capture books which moved them. Images of women holding their chosen book will be exhibited at the event.
If you are a BME women and would like to share your story about a book which changed your life then please email: syma.ahmed@womenslibrary.org.uk, or find out more about how to share a book that changed your life here.
