1. Please introduce yourself-
My name is Joanna Dainton, I volunteer with Glasgow Womens Library on the Paper Girl Project.

2. What is your role at the library and what does it entail?
In my volunteer role I help coordinate the Paper Girl Programme with Gabrielle (the volunteer coordinator), we’ve worked on expanding the programme, reaching out to “sister venues” and providing the Paper Girls with a social aspect to their role, as well as a couple of little treats!

3. What attracted you to the organisation?
I recently moved to Glasgow so was on the look out for meeting new people, the Women’s Library offered a way to make new friends, do some really fulfilling volunteering and learn new skills. I like the library aspect as I’m a keen reader and there are lots of books around! As well as the different kinds of events which they put on, the March of Women was amazing!

4. Sum up the library in one word?
