Hi Liz here on work placement with the GWL, into my second week all the women here are very friendly and have welcomed me. Last week I was just finding my feet and felt like a duck out of water …quack quack! Done some packing and felt like I should’ve been packed away too I’m as old as these books (ageist). Still as long as I’ve lightened the load that is what’s important.
Just trying my hand at blogging, not a lot to say everyone is scurrying around doing what they can to help with the move to Parnie St which as you all know is the decant space, how long they’ll be residing there is yet a mystery. I won’t be around to see the big move to the Mitchell Library (sob) but I will visit to see their new home. I wish them all the success they deserve with all their hard work they have done so far in bringing valuable information to many a woman and women’s groups. So this is my last week so instead of just writing I had better get my butt into gear. Bye and Good Luck to all involved.
