“Founded in 2009 as Newcastle Roller Girls – Newcastle Roller Derby is an athletic and social non-profit organisation committed to improving ourselves and others through the sport of roller derby. We strive for athletic excellence and competitive success in the growing world of roller derby, embracing people of all shapes, sizes, ages, backgrounds and skill levels. In line with WFTDA, we are committed to inclusive and anti-discrimination practices in relation to all transgender women, intersex women, and gender-expansive participants.
