Book Launch: Bringing Life to Aberdeen

This book celebrates the pioneers who helped create neo-natal and midwifery services in Aberdeen and contains a wealth of memories and tales from personal experience. From a local “howdie” (midwife) accused of witchcraft in 1597 to Maggie Myles who create the definitive textbook for midwifery, Lesley Dunbar, Alison MCCall and Fiona Rennie will share their journey in researching and discovering the history of maternity services and share some of those precious stories.
