Following the Commonwealth Games in 2014, Glasgow Women’s Library has gathered a unique collection of commonwealth women writers which will be showcased at Edinburgh Central Library for the duration of the Harpies Fechters and Quines festival.
At this Story Cafe special you will discover the work of powerful women writers from Glasgow Women’s Library’s commonwealth writers collection. Bring along a bite of lunch and relax while you listen to readings from fiction and poetry that reflect the lives, struggles and achievements of international women.
We are looking to expand our programme of women’s heritage walks with our first in the Southside and we need you to help us. This informal series of workshops is suitable for any women who are interested, whether you’re already a keen researcher or if this is a first step into history workshops or research, a warm welcome awaits.
