What helps and hinders women from acting “politically” in public? Why is the media so resistant to change? This day long event, organised by the Centre for Gender & Feminist Studies (University of Stirling) and funded by the Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities (SGSAH) and the Women’s Media Studies Network of Media, Communication and Cultural Studies Association (MeCCSA), will explore this question, focusing on “women, media and politics” in the broadest sense.
