Commissioned by Fuel and Warwick University. Exploring the silence around postnatal mental illness through stories.
Immerse yourself in an installation that illuminates a historically overlooked area of women’s health. Brought together by Alison Neighbour’s comforting design, the piece contains three audio plays based on ground-breaking research, written by Courtney Conrad, Bryony Kimmings and Sara Shaarawi, that break the pervasive culture of silence around maternal mental health.
Content note: discusses postnatal mental illness, death and infanticide.
Includes BSL and transcripted versions of audio.
