Join us this International Women’s Day to celebrate the launch of our Teenage Kicks exhibition about eight girls growing up in the 1960s.

Life in 1960s Britain was changing fast but it wasn’t all miniskirts and pop music. This beautiful installation, with illustrations by Candice Purwin in digital and other forms, is based on research interviews with eight women who were teenagers in the swinging (or not so swinging) sixties.

There will be a short introduction to the exhibition at 2.30pm. You are welcome to come for all or part of the event. Refreshments will be available and you will be the first to see this beautiful new installation.
