From The Calton to New York, Beirut, Morocco and Bulgaria, Memoirs of a Gallus Weegie is Margaret McQuade McAuslan’s expansive life in prose, poetry, photographs and anecdotes. Recounting her experiences as a working-class woman and atheist growing up in Glasgow in the 1950s and 60s, her book is ambitious, honest and deeply moving.
Margaret will be reading from her book and welcoming questions and discussion.
