Immerse yourself in tales from around the world at our lunchtime Story Café, as we rediscover the joy of being read to.
So far this year, our hearts have been aflutter over the joys and sorrows of first love, humbled by the bravery of political activists and warmed by acts of compassion. Stories and poems give us a glimpse into the lives of women across the globe, whilst helping us to make sense of our own. So why not top up your cuppa from our big, bottomless teapot, get yourself comfy and be a part of the story.
Prepare to be spellbound by storyteller and musician Lesley O’Brien. Born and brought up in the East End of Glasgow, Lesley has travelled all over the world, exploring her passion for stories, and her belief that they can touch body, heart and soul. Lesley will be weaving nourishing tales of food, friendships and traditions, peppered throughout with songs, whilst we enjoy an array of tasty morsels. Expect a culinary and sensory feast!
