We’re delighted to welcome Jennifer Klinec, author of The Temporary Bride, to a very special Story Café.
Her evocative memoir, full of the sights, sounds and tastes of Iran, is a story of food and love, taking us behind the closed doors of Iran and giving us a rare glimpse into the lives of ordinary Iranians. Jennifer will be reading from her book, talking about the women writers who have inspired her work, and brewing us some traditional chai tea.
Thursday 25th June, 12.30pm to 2.30pm
Our warm and welcoming Story Café is the perfect way to relax over lunchtime. Bring along a bite to eat, grab a cuppa, and enjoy listening to wonderful short stories, novel extracts and poems by women writers from around the world.
