Welcome!
Readers of Colour is a thriving community of Women* and Nonbinary Readers of Colour who come together to read writing by Women and Nonbinary Writers of Colour.
Welcome to the online sessions!
We meet the last Thursday of the month, 6pm – 7.15pm online. This April, we’ll meet on the 27th and featured author, Tjawangwa Dema, will be joining our online session to give a reading and Q&A. Book below for the full reading list and reading materials.
The sessions are run by Lil Green. If you’re interested in joining the group but you’re not sure what to expect – just come along to a session and listen in, there’s no need to talk or take part in the discussion unless you’d like to! Any questions at all, you can email Lil, lil.green@womenslibrary.org.uk.
Read more about what we are up to on our blog page here, including book recommendations by group members.
The event is free and for Women* and Nonbinary People of Colour only (16+). To attend, please book below and we will send you the reading list.
*All women-only events are inclusive of Trans and Intersex women, as well as nonbinary and gender fluid people who are comfortable in a space that centres the experience of women.
This session takes place via an online video call link. If you would like to attend, please book below and we will share an email invitation along with simple and straight forward instructions on how this will work. If you have any concerns about how this will work for you, please do get in touch and we’ll do all we can to support you in joining the session.
