Popcorn Horror are celebrating horror that terrifies us in a short space of time.
The works of Edgar Allen Poe, Lovecraft, as well as anthology horror such as Creepshow, Black Sabbath, and Trick R Treat, and horror shorts. In this workshop, you will have the chance to write your own short horror fiction.
Popcorn Horror want you to tell a horror story in 100 words or less. The story can fall into any sub-genre, or take the form of poetry. They simply want you to send a shiver down their spines in as few words as possible.
These entries can then be submitted to the Popcorn Horror Writing competition via email to comp@popcornhorror.com and favourite entries will be featured in an eBook they are putting together. The most terrifying tale will also receive an awesome prize package featuring the best of short horror.
This workshop is facilitated by Cara and Felix of Popcorn Horror and is aimed at women only with a view to engaging more women in writing horror. A great opportunity to get creative in 100 words or less.
