Pull up a chair and be transported to the Scottish islands from the comfort of your own home! This National Poetry Day, we’re thrilled to welcome Pauline Prior-Pitt, who will be joining us all the way from North Uist.
Pauline’s poems, alternately funny and poignant, beautifully reflect the intricacies of women’s lives, covering birth, death and everything in between. She also writes evocatively about North Uist, a land of wind, water and stone. Pauline will read a selection of her work on the themes of women, sea and shore, and share some reflections on her creative practice.
So why not top up your tea and gather round our virtual table, we’d love to welcome you. See all our upcoming Story Cafés here.
