In an open, honest and often humorous way, contributors to this exhibition have shared memories and photographs of objects with special significance to them, telling diverse stories from Scotland’s Gypsy and Traveller population. As a minority ethnic community Gypsy/Travellers are often ignored or forgotten and this exhibition presents an opportunity to ensure contributions and experiences of Gypsy/Traveller women are highlighted, valued and discussed.
This exhibition has been created by MECOPP and Gypsy/Travellers across Scotland. We launch the exhibition on Saturday 12th May, 1pm to 3pm. For more information about the event, and to book, please visit here.
This exhibition is free to attend and there is no need to book. For opening times see the ‘Where to Find Us’ section of the website.
